About The Refuge

Why We are Here

Where conflict and wrongdoing lead the way in every day America, seeded deep within us is the natural hope and desire for real justice; for wrongs to be made right; for conflict to end in peace. In short we believe  that can happen, but not in the way most people pursue it. Until we restore our relationship with God, we will never truly restore relationships between people.

The Refuge is all about relationships with God and others. Jesus said the greatest commandments were to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself. Our motto, see a need, meet a need, expresses our desire to love others in Jesus' name.  more info>>

Milestones

On December 13, 2015, the Refuge Christian church opened her doors for her first Sunday morning Worship service at the Eudora Middle School. 86 were in attendance.

December 13, 2020, we celebrated our 5th anniversary in the midst of a pandemic while worshipping at our second temporary home inside of Cornerstone Family Worship.

October 17, 2021 we moved back to Eudora Middle School where we currently worship on Sundays, 10:00 am.

We look forward to the memories we'll make in the years to come as we continue to restore more relationships with God.  Join the Family!
